I really enjoy group and interpersonal discussions because it allows me to hear what other ideas people may have other than my own. I think it is important to hear others thoughts because it opens up the mind to broaden ones personal reality. Having interpersonal conversations on a daily basis, lets us know how others around us are doing but it also allows us to tell our loved ones and acquaintances how we feel. We are able to create new friendships, rekindle old ones, and end toxic relationships.
Group discussions on the other hand, allow us to brainstorm and expand our creativity. I believe the opinions of others allows us to become innovative and more informed on the subject at hand.

I am not 100% sure what I want to do with my business degree but my professional goals are to have a career that allows me to have balance in my life. I like jobs where I can work normal day hours and have lots of opportunity for career advancement. I would like to be in a career where I am able to communicate with others and hear their ideas but also go back to my desk and do work by myself. I think it is important to have a career that allows me and my team to be innovative yet personal. I also really enjoy doing computer work and working with excel so I would like to learn more about data entry and anything that goes along with it. However, I do know that when choosing a career I will be open minded but I will not settle for just anything. I need stability, routine, and balance in my career in order to be happy.

I agree with your thoughts about intrapersonal skills. I also believe they allow yoy to be yourself and work out the kinks in your thoughts before you say them. I can also reate to your professional goals in the business world. I am also a business major but I don't know the exact path I want to travel with it. I want like you balance and flexibility in my life.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing that you have a list of elements that will keep you happy in the career of your choice. I think, as Americans, we spend more time on our jobs and chasing our careers than taking time for ourselves. Good for you!
