As I was reading this week’s reading assignment, I was feeling a sense of déjà vu. Ah-Ha!..I remember a BSC (behavioral science) class I took three semesters ago that talked about the same communication strategies and the models of communication from this week’s reading. So, I have been integrating my past classes with COMM 200 intrapersonal-ly. Intrapersonal communication interested me the most because of the déjà vu and I am always talking to myself. It is just a way to process my thoughts and keep myself on track of what I need to do throughout the day. I also use intrapersonal communication to calm myself down during stressful days like presentations. I tell myself to calm down and just breathe and visualize, in my head, of myself successfully giving a speech. So, I am always using intrapersonal communication to help me get through the day.

My professional goals that I want to reach are to move to Florida and hopefully get a career in Graphic Design or Art Direction in Walt Disney World parks or in a Disney movie. This has been a dream of mine for some time (to work at Disney) since I love everything Disney and Disney has been in most of my life! My autistic brother that I take care for alongside with my Mom loves to go to Disney and is the only thing he really enjoys besides video games. So, the Walt Disney Company has made a big positive impact to my family and myself which I am happy for. This gif below expresses my love for Disney.

After reading the two links about deadlines, they reminded me of a this link about tips for a successful semester that really helped me. So I thought I would share it with you all.
