Greetings COMM 200 Students!
I am posting this sample blog for our first attempt to use this tool as a class and respond to one another.
Share one thing about yourself with the class and include an image or video.
This is our family dog, "Romeo." I know, he is very handsome. Romeo is a rescue dog from Canine Cupids
and he has been with our family for 2 years. He was found as a puppy
on the street, adopted, and returned! We are his "second chance forever
home." His name suits him as he is affectionate with people and other
dogs. However, he is highly food-motivated, an escape artist (arguably
the highest jumping creature in the Milwaukee area), and suffers from a
bit of separation anxiety. You may be thinking, this post is about
Romeo, not Tracy! This is what you should know: I love this dog. He is a
handful. Sometimes he makes me late for engagements both personal and
professional. He has been previously picked-up by the local police (they
loved him, no ticket for Mom) and once ate a bottle of Excedrin that
required a stay in Doggie ICU (http://www.dog-health-guide.org/dogpoisoning.html).
If
I begin a story with "Oh Romeo ...." please be patient. I will be
sharing "Adventures with Romeo" as there will be adventures. You can
also follow him on Instagram (managed by my daughters, Ella and
Carmen): Homiero.
